Ever notice the beginning of Total's "Can't U See"? Where Keisha says, "You just don't know what you do to me"?
That's exactly how I feel everytime DBanks says he misses me.
I'd let go. I really had. I have. Have. Have to emphasize the present tense.
But I *had* to wish him a happy birthday. I just had to. And after us not speaking for 2 months, he says thank you and tells me he misses me.
And I'm sitting here w/ the HEAVY sighing. Don't make no sense.
I HAVE let go. I'll continue to be free from that situation. I'll continue living my life.
On Saturday, I heard a woman take her last dying breaths. There were about 5 or 6 of them. And then she was gone. May her soul rest in peace. I hear her breaths when I try to go to sleep. In the blink of an eye...
